Rajasthan Education Board released the New REET  Exam date which will be going to be held on 23rd & 24th July 2022. Education Minister, Ashok Gehlot has announced the New REET Exam Date through his Twitter handle the account. Revised REET Exam dates will be going to schedule for 23rd & 24th July 2022.

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will be conducting Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) 2022 in Jul 2022. The level of REET 2022 will be of higher secondary level and the exam will be conducted in offline mode.

REET 2022 Vacancy

Rajasthan Government has announced a total of 46000 vacancies in Level-1 and Level-2 REET 2022. Among these 46000 vacancies, 30000 vacancies are fresh for the Level-1 and Level-2 REET 2022. REET 2022 Notification

RBSE had announced 46000 vacancies for the post of government 3rd-grade teacher at the state level in Rajasthan. The candidates to appear for these vacancies must clear the qualifying test which is to be held in the upcoming month in an offline mode. Candidates can apply for the level-1 and level-2 exams to get eligible for a third-grade teaching exam. Paper-1 is conducted for the selection at the primary level i.e. class I to V and Paper-2 is conducted for the secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII.

REET 2022 Exam Dates

Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan has released tentative dates for the REET Exam 2022. 23rd July and 24th July 2022 are the dates tentatively decided for conducting the REET Exam 2022.

REET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

REET is the teaching eligibility test comprised of  2 exams i.e. Paper-1 which is conducted for the selection at the primary level i.e. class I to V and Paper 2  which is conducted for secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII. Here we are discussing the REET Eligibility criteria for different levels separately.

Age Limit: The candidate is eligible to fill the application during his minimum age of 21 years with age relaxation for the candidates from the reserved category.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): 

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation or post-graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- the year in B.A. /B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Note: Note:- Amendment by NCTE Notification No.F.No. NCTE-Reg/012/22/2019-US(Regulation)-HQ. Dated 13th November 2019 “At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed.” the following Proviso inserted-“Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not apply to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before the 29th July 2011.”

REET 2022 Selection Process

The REET Exam 2022 will be conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Education to assess and shortlist suitable candidates who are eligible to teach the students of primary & upper primary classes ranging from class 1 to class 8. REET exam is of two levels – Level 1 for classes I to V and Level 2 for classes VI to VIII. The candidates who qualify REET Exam with the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the exam authorities will be eligible for REET Certification and can appear in the personal interviews for their appointment in government & government-aided schools of Rajasthan. REET 2022 Exam Pattern

REET Exam pattern is different for different levels i.e for Primary & secondary level exam, It comprises 150 questions of 150 marks.

• There are five sections in the paper I, Child Psychology and Pedagogy, language I, language Ii, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
• There are four sections in paper I, Child Psychology and Pedagogy, language I, language II, Science & Mathematics OR Social Science
• Candidates have to complete the paper in 150 minutes or two hours and half minutes
• There is no negative marking

REET 2022 Exam Pattern for Level-1 exam

•Level-1 paper is for the candidates who want to get selected at the primary level teaching profession.
•The Level-1 paper is of a total of 150 questions with one mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for the Level-1 exam.
•The time duration for the Level-1 exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
•The choice of languages included in paper-1 is English, Hindi, Sindhi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Gujarati, and Punjabi.

•The level-2 exam is for the candidates who want to begin their career in upper-primary teaching for classes 6 to 8.
•The exam will be 150 questions with one mark each and no negative marking.
•The time duration of the examination is the same as that of Level-1 i.e. 2:30 hours
•The languages for paper-2 are English, Hindi, Sindhi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Gujarati, and Punjabi. The candidate can choose as per their interest.

REET 2022 Application Fee

In the following table, the REET 2022 Application Fee is mentioned in detailed. The candidates belonging to the General and OBC Category need to pay Rs. 550/- for One paper and Rs. 750/- for two papers. Meanwhile, SC and ST category candidates need to pay Rs. 250/- for one paper and Rs. 500/- for two papers as application fees.

REET 2022 Online Correction Window

Rajasthan Education Board will open the REET Online Correction window for the registered candidates after the application process is over. Candidates may allow editing the REET Application Form 2022. The information such as  Name. father name, mother Name & DOB  is not able to be correct in REET Exam Form 2022. Rajasthan Education Board had released the notification of REET or Rajasthan Eligibility Examination For Teachers (REET) 2022 on their official website. 

REET 2022 Exam Admit Card

The candidates can download the admit card soon from the RBSE official website with simple steps of filling in the required credentials. The exam date for REET 2022 has been decided to be conducted on 23rd & 24th July 2022 (Tentatively). The admit card will be released separately for candidates appearing for Level-1 and Level-2.

REET Answer Key 2022

The Board of Education, Rajasthan will release a tentative REET Answer Key 2022 along with the correct responses of the questions asked in the examination. The answer key would help the aspirants to calculate their approximate score before the announcement of the result.

REET 2022 Cut-off 

REET 2022 Cut-off is the minimum score to qualify for the written examination. The Board of Education, Rajasthan will release cut-off category-wise once the written exam will be conducted. A Candidate who scores 60% or more in the REET 2022 exam will be considered a REET pass.  Up to 5% of relaxation in qualifying marks is allowed to the reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWD

REET 2022 Validity

Only the finally shortlisted candidates are liable for REET Certification after which they can appear for interview rounds for the schools in the state. The REET 2022 Certificate validity of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test ‘REET’ in the state will now be lifelong as announced by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Earlier, the REET certificated were valid for up to seven years, which was later reduced to three years.
